HOW THE CALCULATOR WORKS
The calculator adds all expenses assigned to your paycheck and subtracts them from your paycheck amount.
Paycheck amount minus planned expenses equals the money remaining.
A positive result means money is still available. A negative result means the planned expenses are greater than the paycheck.
EXAMPLE
Suppose your take-home paycheck is $1,800.
You plan to use $900 for bills, $250 for food, $150 for transportation, $200 for savings, and $100 for debt payments.
Your planned expenses total $1,600, leaving approximately $200 for other needs or additional savings.
